It is a 2002 drama film based on the novel The Age of Grief by Jane Smiley. It is an award-winning film in which a dentist couple David and Dana Hurst (Hope Davis) have three daughters and share a dental practice in New York. As they navigate the complexities of parenthood and marriage, David becomes more and more suspicious of Dana’s infidelity. When David goes through all this he begins imaginary conversations with his problematic old patient Slater (Denis Leary).

It is a fantasy comedy movie which stars Ricky Gervais as a dentist who lives in a town of ghosts. Hard to believe that a dentist coding blue for several minutes due to bad anesthesia during a colonoscopy could be funny, but this movie’s cast, writer & director pull it off, amazingly!
Bertram Pincus, the dentist discovers that he can see and talk with the ghosts. Gervais has a way of delivering funny subtle lines and while he tries to help himself, he messes up but eventually works out what he needs to do. Within the story, he helps himself and others.
The takeaway message of this dental movie is that you don’t fall in love, rather you grow into love.

It is a comedy thriller in which a struggling dentist Nick Oz’s life is turned upside down when a famous gangster Jimmy, the Tulip moves in next door, and his wife Sophie convinces him to inform a notorious mob about the gangster’s whereabouts. Nick’s simple boring world turns upside down after this.

7. Little Shop of Horrors(1986)
It is one of the greatest dental movies. Steve Martin plays the role of a sadistic dentist in the movie. He dances, sings, laughs at the pain, punches his assistant, and holds oversized dental instruments. Steve is a hilarious character in the film who is constant in the comedy. All the respected members of the dental fraternity of that time gave thumbs up to this movie of the dentist.
8. Good Luck Chuck (2007)-Best dental movie
This is the story of Chuck, a dentist, and how he finds and gets his true love after so many funny affairs and situations. Good luck Chuck… every time Chuck breaks up with a girlfriend, she ends up engaged to her soulmate.
A popcorn and time pass movie. You will love to watch this romantic comedy that proves true love never comes easy.
Make sure you don’t watch it with your kids and parents.
